BEADED TIKAR BANGLE – CAMEROON

We simply love how decorative and stylish these beaded bangles are ! Original to the Tikar society of Cameroon, these bracelets are made of clay and covered with hand-stitched coloured beads that are pressed into the clay.  The Tikar bracelets were originally used as exchange items and were often a part of the dowry of African women.
